Keeping pace with the recent developments on social media, wherein a X user (Twitterati) claimed that Reynolds 045 Fine Carbure will soon be discontinued in the Indian market, the 45-years old legacy pen brand, Reynolds has issued a clarification that it has fallen prey to misinformation as the post is not just misleading but also inaccurate.

As per X Bio, the handle- 90skid is a parody account of Late Jatin Kanakia.

Hours into the post being live on X, the social media users began reposting the tweet out of nostalgia and soon it became viral on the web.

Flooded with such posts, it was only a matter of time before Reynolds issued a clarification statement against the recent misinformation.

In its statement, the brand stated that the information in various media is ‘misleading’ and ‘inaccurate’ and that Reynolds, with its 45-year legacy in the country, has consistently prioritised quality and innovation.

“We have a strong future plan to expand and grow the writing business in India,” it said.

The brand further also encouraged the public to refer to the brand’s website and social media channels for accurate information.
