World TV premiere of YRF's Pathaan on Star Gold sets new records

The world TV premiere of the Yash Raj Films’ blockbuster, Pathaan, on Star Gold, has created new viewership records on Hindi TV.

As per BARC data, the premiere delivered a reach of 45.5 million viewers and Average Minute Audience (AMA) of 15 million. (Source: BARC - All India, CS2+,Tv+Ooh)

The Shah Rukh Khan, Deepika Padukone and John Abraham starrer Pathaan's premiere on Star Gold has emerged as the highest-rated movie of 2023.

To further enhance the excitement surrounding the TV debut of the spy thriller, Star Gold notched up the promotions by setting a Guinness World Record. As part of the event, a celebration took place outside Mannat, the residence of actor Shah Rukh Khan in Mumbai.

A gathering of 300 fans set a record for the ‘Most number of people doing the SRK pose simultaneously’. Khan himself made a surprise appearance, expressing his gratitude and thanks to his devoted fans.

Pathaan on Star Gold had multiple sponsors on board, these included -- co-presenting sponsors: P&G and Dabur, co-powered by sponsors: Maruti, Amazon, and HUL, and associate sponsors: Ultratech and Adani Wilmar.
