Diageo India's CMO Deepika Warrier calls it quits

After being associated with Diageo India for a period of three years, Deepika Warrier has decided to call it quits as the Chief Marketing Officer at the alco-bev company.

Sources told BestMediaInfo.com that her role will soon be taken over by Ruchira Jaitly, who has been serving in the role of EVP-Marketing for the past one-and-a-half-years.

In July 2020, Warrier had joined Diageo India from PepsiCo where she spent about two decades and last served as CEO and MD of NourishCo Beverages (a Pepsico-Tata Global Beverages JV).

Similarly, Jaitly had joined Diageo India in October 2021, from HMD Global where she was the Head of Marketing- HMD India. Previously, she was also associated with DSM, PepsiCo India and Unilever India across various roles.
