News18 Lokmat recently organised the 'Mukta Sanman' Awards to recognise the achievements of unsung women from different parts of Maharashtra.
The event organised on May 14 in Mumbai aimed to acknowledge women for their contributions and work in their respective fields.
‘Mukta Sanman’ Awards praised those, who, by perseverance, enthusiasm, and hard work, have succeeded in their fields and have worked towards improving the society. These noteworthy women, from various social backgrounds, were honoured for their contributions.
The achievers Asmita Wakode, Dhruvi Padwal, Angel Devkude, Marium Jamila, Shalaka Narvekar, Pallavi Kolekar, Sumitra Jadhav, Harshali Chaudhari, Ashwini Devre and Yogita Tambe were felicitated at the event for significant contributions and achievements in their respective domains.
The event witnessed the presence of Bharati Pawar, Union Minister of State for Health and Family Welfare, and Mangal Prabhat Lodha, Women and Child Development Minister Maharashtra, who were the chief guests for the evening.
Additionally, actors Sonali Kulkarni and Smita Gondkar, along with singer Ketaki Mategaonkar, were also present to give away the awards to the achievers.
Alongside the winners, the nominees also received special recognition for their achievements.
