Kedar Apte, the former Chief Marketing Officer of RBML, has now joined Mahindra Group as Chief of International Operations- Farm Equipment Sector and Two-Wheeler business.
Apte, who had recently parted ways with RBML, took to LinkedIn to share the details about his new stint.
“I’m happy to share that I’m starting a new position as Chief of International Operations - Farm Equipment Sector and Two-Wheeler business at Mahindra Group! Excited to begin my journey today,” he wrote.
At RBML, Apte was leading marketing functions for Jio-bp (a Joint venture between Reliance Industries and BP, British Oil and Gas Company) for over two-and-a-half years.
Prior to that, he was associated with Castrol (A BP company) for a period of nine years - wherein he served across multiple roles such as General Manager- Motorcycle Oils Category; Deputy Marketing Head; Sales Director- Middle East, Pakistan and Egypt and lastly as Vice-President Marketing- Castrol India.
Earlier on, in lieu of marking an end to his journey at BP, Apte had written, “As I soon end my 12-year journey with Castrol/bp, I have mixed emotions - a lot of excitement as I take up a new exciting role, a lot of pride as I look back at the journey and also a bit of sadness about leaving a great company. I have looked forward to getting to work every Monday morning during my stint as I absolutely loved what I did. Can't wait to start my new innings in ten days' time. More about that soon.”
Previously, he had also been associated with Hindustan Unilever for a period of nearly 10 years.
