In India, Twitter's workforce was cut down to 12 from 200, stated various news reports.
Almost a week ago, Twitter’s internal messaging service, Slack, was taken offline so that employees cannot communicate with each other internally or look up company data, as reported by New York Times.
This fresh round of lay-offs has happened even after Twitter owner Elon Musk told employees there were no more plans for staff reductions in November. In November, Musk eliminated about half of Twitter’s workforce within a week of taking ownership of the company. Now Twitter staffs close to 2000 employees globally after the cuts.
