News18 Kannada all set to present its 'Varshada Kannadiga 2023' awards

News18 Kannada has announced that it will organise its annual flagship events - Varshada Kannadiga Awards in 2023.

The channel will laud and celebrate extraordinary achievements of people from various sectors at the Awards. Varshada Kannadiga aims to honour ordinary people's unrecognised and extraordinary feats annually.

As a prelude to the event, News18 Kannada hosted a Jury meet on February 4, 2023, at The Chancery Pavilion, Bengaluru. CN Manjunath, Director of Sri Jayadeva Institute, presided over the assembly.

The assembly included a jury of dignitaries such as MA Saleem; IPS Bengaluru Traffic Police Commissioner, Anuradha TK Rtd; Scientist ISRO, Chaitra Harsha; Managing Director Vipragen Biosciences, Vasundhara Bhoopathi; writer, Priyanka Upendra, actor, and Dodda Ganesh; former cricketer.

As per News18 Kannada, the event has received nominations from some accomplished individuals in categories such as literature, entertainment, social service, business, science and technology, sports, lifetime achievement award, and Varshada Kannadiga.

The channel will honour the winners, as well as the nominees, at the presentation award ceremony on February 22, 2023, at The Chancery Pavilion, Bengaluru.
