Arjun Mohan, the CEO of ed-tech company UpGrad has quit, according to the news report. Mohan stepped down in December however the company did not announce the development, the reports further stated.
This comes at a time when the Ed-tech sector is facing multiple challenges.
"I have decided to move out of upGrad after almost 3 years of service as the CEO of India business. My last day of employment will be 15th Jan," Mohan said in the statement.
The Ed-tech companies are dealing with growth challenges after the pandemic as offline schools have opened again. There is also a funding crunch across the sector.
