Singers Harrdy Sandhu, Aastha Gill, and Shalmali Kholgade performed live at McDonald’s i'm lovin’ it Live concert in partnership with MTV.

The performance was the curtain raiser of McDonald’s global flagship music IP that McDonald’s India – North and East has launched in partnership with MTV for the first time in India. 

For their love and passion for music and food, more than fifteen hundred people thronged the venue in Gurugram.

While Gill set the stage on fire with her hit numbers, Kholgade further surprised the audience with popular renditions, and further Sandhu performed his smashing hits.

Sanjeev Agrawal, Chairman, McDonald’s India – North and East, said, “We are super elated to host the first musical concert in India under the banner of McDonald’s i'm lovin’ it Live in partnership with MTV. This is also our way of thanking McDonald’s fans and strengthen our relationship with them. Sandhu said, “It’s always a delight to perform for my fanbase in Delhi NCR/Gurugram but getting to do this with two of my favourite brands; McDonald’s and MTV, was no less than a ‘Happy Meal’ for me! Everything about the first ever i’m lovin’ it Live music concert in India was nothing short of exhilarating and I am grateful to everyone who brought this to life.”

Kholgade said, “Performing at the i'm lovin’ it Live concert in partnership with MTV was a surreal experience. The audience was so amazing. I think music is one of the most universal forms of expression and when combined with food, it truly holds the power to bind people. I am incredibly excited to be a part of i'm lovin’ it Live which is an exceptional idea of giving a treat to music and food lovers.”

Gill said, “It was a fantastic night and a great experience to perform in front of such an energetic and uplifting audience. I am just so glad to be a part of McDonald's inaugural concert, in partnership with MTV, of i'm lovin’ it Live which is a superb platform, spreading happiness and smiles through a unique combination of music and food.”

i'm lovin’ it Live is McDonald’s global flagship music IP brought in India by McDonald’s India – North and East in partnership with MTV. As a part of the music IP, i'm lovin’ it Live will bring popular artists together to create new compositions, while adding fine cultural nuances by which the artists have been influenced the most.

Artists such as Guru Randhawa, Armaan Malik, Arjun Kanungo, Sandhu, Kholgade and OAFF will lead this musical journey to create six original compositions which will be released on MTV in a series of four episodes starting January 2023.
