Colors to present a new fiction show 'Pyar Ke Saat Vachan Dharam Patnii'

Colors is all set to presents a new fiction drama, 'Pyar Ke Saat Vachan Dharam Patnii’. 

Produced by Balaji Telefilms, the show will premiere on November 28 and thereafter air every Monday to Friday at 8 pm on the channel.

Two couples, one an affluent Punjabi couple - Ravi Randhawa (played by Fahmaan Khan) and Keerti Sachdeva (played by Gurpreet Bedi), and the other a middle-class Gujarati couple - Pratiksha Parekh (played by Kritika Singh Yadav) and Malhar Thakur (played by Akash Jagga) feature in the show. While Ravi and Keerti are childhood sweethearts, Pratiksha and Malhar are soon to be united in an arranged marriage. What happens when their destiny intertwines? How will they deal with the aftermath? The show traces the journey of these two contrasting couples.

Hailing from two different regions, the two couples’ cross paths, and soon after their lives change in ways they had never imagined. Pratiksha Parekh is a school-teacher who enjoys the little things in life, however, fate tests her optimism, and her fiancé Malhar is an IPS aspirant who is a selfish and cunning opportunist. On the other hand, Ravi Randhawa is a celebrity business tycoon and his ladylove Keerti Sachdeva is an NGO volunteer, who does her best to help the underprivileged. It will be interesting to see under what circumstances the two couples meet and what follows in their lives thereafter. How do strings of their fate interweave?

Jagga, who portraying Malhar Thakur, said, “The role of Malhar Thakur in ‘Pyar Ke Saat Vachan Dharam Patnii’ brought the opportunity to test my mettle as an actor.
