Online food delivery company Swiggy has finally managed to track the famous ‘delivery guy on horseback from Mumbai’, putting an end to the chase and the frenzy which had broken out following his video going viral on social media.

Swiggy had announced a bounty for anyone who could help it track the viral ‘delivery’ guy.

After days of search, it has turned out that the guy was not a ‘deliver boy’ but a young caretaker for horses who had taken the Swiggy delivery bag from someone and had forgotten to return it in time, as per the investigation by the company.

The company made these announcements through a quirky statement on its social media handles. 

On Sunday, July 10, Swiggy put out a post on its social media, revealing the name and actual occupation of the ‘delivery boy’, along with the details of the one who had captured him on video on a rainy day in Mumbai, the financial capital of the country.

According to the company, the person was not one of their employees, and he is a 17-year-old boy who works in a stable and happened to borrow the Swiggy delivery bag and forgot to return it.
