Warner Bros. Discovery has set out its India, Southeast Asia and Korea (INSEAK) leadership team under Clement Schwebig, as president and managing director.

The Indian market will be led by Arjun Nohwar who has been named GM India. He will report to Schwebig. He was previously responsible for the launch of HBO MAX in India.

Nohwar takes over from Megha Tata, MD, Discovery Communications India, who headed Discovery’s portfolio and brands in India and oversaw the launch of the discovery+ streaming service.

Tata was with Discovery for over three years. In her three decades of career, she has worked with media brands such as Star India, Turner International, HBO and BTVi before joining Discovery.

As Schwebig will continue to make other management adjustments over the next 18 months across the markets falling under him, his priority tasks for India will be “streaming services HBO Go in Southeast Asia and discovery+ in India” and “growth of the Kids space in India”.
