India has created history by winning three Grand Prix in one season of Cannes Lions. Also, it is for the first time that an Indian agency has won two Grand Prix in a single year at Cannes Lions.
Dentsu Creative India has brought this glory to India at Cannes Lions 2022. The agency has won its second Grand Prix this year in the Brand Experience and Activations category for Vice Media’s ‘The Unfiltered History Tour’ campaign.
All this, on just the third day of Cannes Lions 2022. There are two more days to go.
Brand Experience & Activations
Along with winning its second Grand Prix at Cannes Lions this year, Dentsu Creative also bagged a Silver Lion for ‘The Unfiltered History Tour’ campaign.

Ogilvy India has got a Silver Lion for Cadbury Celebrations’ ‘Shahrukh Khan - My Ad’ campaign.
FCB India along with FCB Chicago has fetched a Silver for ‘Nominate Me Selfie’ campaign created for Times of India.
While there were 71 entries sent, there were 10 shortlists in this category.
Creative Commerce
In this category, India has brought home two Gold Lions. One Gold is won by VMLY&R India for Unilever’s ‘Smart Fill’ campaign and the other won was earned by McCann Worldgroup India for ‘Shagun Ka Lifafa’ campaign created for Ujjivan Small Finance Bank.

Dentsu Creative India has got a Silver Lion for ‘The Unfiltered History Tour’ campaign in the Mobile category.
There were four shortlists in this category. India had sent 19 entries for this one.
Innovation
VMLY&R India has won a Silver Lion for Maxx Flash’s ‘The Killer Pack’ campaign.
Creative Business Transformation
For India, only VMLY&R could get a Bronze for Unilever’s ‘Smart Fill’ campaign.
The only shortlist in this category was VMLY&R. Eight entries were sent in this category.
Creative Effectiveness
DDB Mudra is the only winner from India in this category. The agency won a Bronze for “Stayfree Project Free Period” campaign created for J&J’s Stayfree.
While 20 entries were made from India, only DDB Mudra had a shortlist in this category.
Cannes Lions Festival of Creativity also announced winners in the Creative Strategy category, but there was no shortlist from India in this category.
