With the festival of Tamil New Year around the corner, Colors Tamil has announced an interesting line-up of content as families come together on this auspicious occasion.
Starting this Tamil New Year, on Thursday, viewers will be able to enjoy a variety of programs beginning with ‘The Voice of Legends’ at 6 am.
Commencing this propitious festive journey with a half-an-hour show – ‘Tamil Puthaandu Palangal’ titled “Subakiruthu Thamizh Varuda Palangal“, with special partners Karur Vysya Bank, the channel introduces Jothisacharya Jothishasamrat, astrologer Magesh Iyer in a brand-new astrology segment at 8:30 am, followed by an hour-long Tamil Puthandu Sirappu Pattimandram, powered by Market of India and Cardia Advanced Kadalai Ennai along with special partners Vijayalakshmi Home Appliances, Black Thunder Ooty Main Road, Mettupalayam, Milka Wonder Cake and Tamil Nadu Mercantile Bank” at 9 am on “What is needed for a happy married life - Love & Affection or Intelligence?”
The debate will be moderated by journalist, senior editor and actor Rangaraj Pandey, and the team of speakers consisting of eminent names such as comedian-orator Pazhani, Director-influencer Rajmohan, motivational speaker Sasi Laya, Principal Vedhanayagi, poet Malarvizhi and orator Ezhilarasi who will be pit against each other to prove a point.
On the fictional front, Colors Tamil is all decked up with thrilling plotlines that will keep the audiences entertained the entire week starting from Amman 3 at 6:30 pm to ‘Sillunu Oru Kadhal’ at 10 pm with poignant narratives amidst the celebration.
Adding to the festivities, audiences will also get to witness amusing and fun activities along with enthralling performances with “Pottikku Potti: R U Ready?”, on the non-fiction front.
Bringing in harmony combined with tunes of melody, the channel will furthermore honour the legacy of prominent singers like SP Balasubramaniyam and KJ Yesudas with “The Voice of Legends”, a delightful event for all music lovers at 6 am.
Moreover, building on the entertainment, the line-up also comprises an intriguing array of movies with “Maara” and “Sila Nerangalil Sila Manithargal” with special partner Vasanth & Co that will keep the audiences hooked throughout.
