Riding on the Metaverse wave, Blink Digital collaborated with Amazon India to unbox the new smartphone OnePlus 10 Pro in the Metaverse.
The experience showcased all of the OnePlus 10 Pro's features while allowing users to view the phone in a 360-degree environment. To enter OnePlus unboxing, the audience can create their character on Decentraland and make their way in through (-25,69) coordinates to the unboxing venue.
The independent agency conceptualised and executed unboxing of OnePlus' recently launched phone on Amazon.in.
The campaign incorporates a competition component to give customers a chance to win the OnePlus 10 Pro, making the launch more lucrative for them.
Users can share a screenshot of their avatars unboxing the OnePlus 10 Pro in this social contest, and two winners will be notified on April 15 based on a lucky draw.
Rikki Agarwal, Co-Founder and COO of Blink Digital, said, “With the rising social media trends, the online advertising landscape is evolving at a break-neck pace. Metaverse is one such phenomenon that has caught the attention of brands and consumers given the engagement rate and replicates the real-life experience in the virtual form. The future metaverse will be nearly identical to our world in many ways.”
“Considering Amazon India’s consumers, Blink Digital team wanted to deep dive into the idea that engages the customers. Hence, we leveraged Decentraland as a medium to showcase the unboxing. This unboxing method will likely give a substantial idea to consumers on the product even before getting the product in hand. We are delighted to be associated with Amazon India for this campaign and look forward to continuing working with them on exciting campaigns,” Agarwal added.
“For the unboxing of the latest and most anticipated OnePlus 10 Pro, we wanted to do something eye-catching for our customers. We are happy to partner with Blink Digital to bring something unique and innovative to all the OnePlus fans that are eagerly awaiting the launch of the OnePlus 10 Pro,” said Nishant Sardana, Director-Mobile Phones and Televisions, Amazon India.
