BARC India releases first CER data; Aaj Tak records 3X jump in viewership on Jahangirpuri anti-encroachment drive coverage

Aaj Tak, India’s most trusted news channel for 21 years has clearly clawed back to its number one position in reach as per the Viewership rating released for week 16, the channel said quoting BARC India data for the TG: | HSM | 15+ Yrs | WK 16'22 | Daily Avrg Reach (Million).

As per the Industry’s first Customised Event Report (CER) released by BARC, Aaj Tak has clearly established its supremacy in coverage of events of national importance. The CER data shows that Aaj Tak’s coverage of Jehangirpuri encroachment demolition gave it a growth of 188% in 15+ HSM, 225% in 2+ Pay India and 182% in 2+ All India (BARC | CER 15+ HSM, Pay India & All India | Wed, 20th Apr’22, 11:00-13:00 Hrs).
