News network India News has said its Exit Poll ‘India News- Jan Ki Baat’ has emerged as the clear winner among the predictions made by various channels after polling for Assembly elections in five states came to an end.

As per India News, its Exit Poll on March 7, 2022, had predicted a clear victory for BJP in the state of Uttar Pradesh, sweep by Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) in Punjab. Further it had also forecasted BJP’s win in Uttarakhand, Manipur and a fractured mandate in Goa.

India News-Jan Ki Baat predicted BJP’s victory in Uttar Pradesh with a maximum range of 260 seats and vote share of 41% to 43%. As per EC data on March 11, BJP had registered a vote share of 41.29% and had won 255 seats.

The channel claimed that since the month of November, through three Opinion Polls and the Exit Poll, it had predicted a sweep for Aam Aadmi Party in Punjab.

AAP won Punjab by getting 92 seats in 117 seat assembly. Further, in Uttarakhand, India News– Jan Ki Baat had predicted a win for BJP in a cliff-hanger contest. The results show that BJP will be forming government in Uttarakhand with it winning 47 of the 70-seat assembly and a vote share of 44.31%.

For Goa, India News-Jan Ki Baat Exit Poll had predicted 19 seats for BJP, and BJP has bagged 20 seats with a vote share of 33.31%.

The recently held Assembly elections saw voters giving a clear mandate to BJP to form government in the states of Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand and Manipur. The party is also going to form government in Goa with the help of allies, as it has emerged as the single-largest party in the state with 20 seats.

In Punjab, AAP got a decisive victory and is all set to rule the border state.
