News18 Assam NorthEast is playing an active role in promoting the vision of ‘Make in India’ in the state of Assam through the launch of its new campaign ‘Udyomi Asom, Asom Akou Unnotir Pothot.’

Prime Minister Narendra Modi has been laying special emphasis on the need for every state of the country to become economically self-sustained. To achieve this goal in Assam, the dynamic and enterprising budding population of the state have invested their ideas and capital in several start-up projects to accelerate innovative entrepreneurship.

This has also been due to the pandemic that forced a large number of skilled labour and professionals to return to their native land in Assam. To put these expertise and skills to its maximum potential, a lot of developing start-ups have slowly, but steadily, taken a step towards becoming the first-generation entrepreneurs.

In this direction, News18 Assam NE’s month-long campaign, organised throughout February, will be a pivotal step in the direction of creating awareness about start-up projects in the state. The initiative will also provide a platform for the promotion of young and successful entrepreneurs, institutions, market agencies and business avenues.

The proposed campaign aims to bring noble initiatives into limelight for them to act as an inspiration for others. The show will include a lot of insights about the start-up sector in engagement with representatives from government agencies and the banking units.

The experts will shed light on the policies and other benefits curated for entrepreneurs. The network also plans to rope in innovators and entrepreneurs from other states and nations to add vibrancy in these discussions and create a wide impact.
