The Qt Company, the global provider of software technology, has announced the launch of Qt Digital Advertising to help its users monetise UI/UX screens built with Qt.
The new solution, which will significantly streamline and enhance revenue generation opportunities for mobile, desktop and embedded applications and devices, was designed to focus on monetisation, productivity and disruption.
This enables mobile, desktop and embedded developers to generate revenue by leveraging digital advertising directly within the Qt development framework. Users will no longer be required to implement costly monetisation platforms, that are not fully integrated to generate revenue.
Instead, organizations can instantly build and monetise the right digital advertising business case for their cross-platform scenarios, from prototype to final product. The solution will also create new business cases for advertisers to run efficient marketing campaigns on embedded device UIs, capitalizing on opportunities presented by the rapidly growing IoT and connected devices industry, in addition to being a new business model for The Qt Company and its customers.
“We have worked hard to deliver more opportunities for our users to generate revenue directly through the Qt development framework”, said Petteri Holländer, Senior Vice-President, Ventures at The Qt Company. “With the launch of Qt Digital Advertising, users can design, develop, test, deploy and now monetise everywhere, turning their product into revenue machines instantly. Qt users can now start monetising products within less than an hour, avoiding the need to overcome the challenges of integrating incompatible monetisation tools and vastly enhancing their potential to generate revenue in mobile and embedded devices”.
The Advertising solution is currently being piloted by Qt customers across different industries like smart mobility, hospitality, and gaming. The new offering provides an out-of-the-box experience for designers and developers to merge advertising in complex user interfaces.
