After a tenure of over eight years at Lenovo, Amit Doshi, Chief Marketing Officer for India and South Asia at the tech company, has decided to move on. Sources close to the development confirmed the news to BestMediaInfo.com.

The sources added that he’s currently serving his last week at the company.

Doshi is a marketing and sales leader with over 17 years of experience across brand marketing, digital, sales and customer development roles and key innovations.

He started his career as Area Sales Manager at Perfetti Van Melle India in 2003.

In 2004, he joined Britannia and rose across various positions and roles ranging from Area Sales Manager, Group Product Manager to being Marketing Manager in his last role there.

Later in 2013, Doshi moved on from Britannia to join Lenovo as Head Marketing - Consumer PC, Tablet, Digital. In 2018, he was promoted to the position of Director, Marketing for the India and South Asia operations.

Doshi’s LinkedIn profile says that his speciality lies in strategic planning, evangelising initiatives, branding and brand architecture, brand portfolio management, digital, social, innovation, strategic sales and channel development, coaching and talent development.

Doshi studied Computer Science for his Bachelor’s degree and earned his MBA degree in Management from Narsee Monjee Institute of Management Studies.
