Tata Sky’s Classic TV to bring back the best of 80’s, 90’s shows for viewers

It has roped in actor Neena Gupta as the face of the service, and also includes a new chat show ‘Roobaroo with Star’

Tata Sky has launched Tata Sky Classic TV – a service that brings back classic shows of the 80’s and 90’s, which are usually called the golden era of Indian television.

It offers a mix of shows that have not only been popular but have set a benchmark in the world of television soaps in India. Neena Gupta has been roped in as the face of the service. The campaign will feature her rekindling the bygone days with her set of friends reminiscing the magic of shows like ‘Hum Paanch’, ‘Saans’, ‘Fauji’, ‘Banegi Apni Baat’, and more.

The service will also have a chat show hosted by Vishal Malhotra. Titled ‘Roobaroo with Star’, the segment will feature Malhotra engaging in a friendly manner with actors like Seema Pahwa, Sudha Chandran, Ashok Saraf, Vandana Pathak, Suchitra Pillai and others.

The service has been powered by Shemaroo Entertainment; it is ad free and available for viewing anytime on the Tata Sky mobile app.
