'Agenda Aaj Tak' summit begins today; promises debates, discussions on India's future

Aaj Tak has made a return with ‘Agenda Aaj Tak’, a thought-platform for debates and discussions in Hindi. The theme of the event is, “Naye Daur mein Likhenge Nayi Kahani” (new stories written for a new age), which tries to capture how a resurgent nation, emerging from the turmoil of the 2020 pandemic, is going to write a new chapter of change for itself.

It will be broadcasted live on Aaj Tak, Aaj Tak HD, and will also be streamed live on www.aajtak.in. The two-day summit, starting December 3, is being held at Delhi’s Le Meridien Hotel, and will be attended by leaders from the field of politics, entertainment, business and social welfare.

JP Nadda, Chairman of the Bharatiya Janata Party, will deliver a keynote on the party’s vision and mission for the upcoming elections, while Nirmala Sitharaman, Finance Minister of India, will offer insights on the country’s financial outlook. The event will also be attended by Union Cabinet Ministers like Nitin Gadkari, Jyotiraditya Scindia, Ashwini Vaishnaw, Kiren Rijiju and Mansukh Mandaviya. Union Agriculture Minister, Narendra Singh Tomar, will also be addressing a public gathering during the summit, making it the first such address by him post the repeal of the three farm bills.

The event will also see the participation of Chief Ministers like Shivraj Singh Chouhan, Bhupesh Baghel, Arvind Kejriwal, and Charanjit Singh Channi, who will talk about the issues relevant to their respective states.

Political leaders like Salman Khurshid, Asaduddin Owaisi, Manish Tewari, Randeep Surjewala will also mark their attendance in the two-day event. Bollywood celebrities like Aayushmann Khurrana, Kiara Advani, Sara Ali Khan, Kriti Sanon, Sonu Sood, Kartik Aryan, Aanand L Rai, and Ayush Sharma will also talk about their individual journeys in the sessions. Celebrities like Raveena Tandon, Ashutosh Rana and Shweta Tripathi, will also be seen participating in an open dialogue.
