Red FM partnered with Nippon Paint to launch the campaign “Red Superhit Mela”, which was carried out throughout the Red FM stations of Karnataka: Bangalore, Mysore, Mangalore, Gulbarga and Hubli- Dharwad.
The campaign spanned over 15 days on-air, on-ground and across digital segments. The listeners were given clues on air to locate the RJ and the mascot of Nippon Paint; Blobby in various parts of the city. Upon spotting them, the lucky listeners were given gifts. The first one to approach them stood a chance to win an electric bike during the grand finale Lucky Draw.
The radio channel went all out to say “Yeh Diwali Green Vaahan Wali” (this Diwali is a Green Vehicle Diwali) And "Ee Deepavali Mathstu Hasiragali" as part of the campaign.
The culmination of the Green Diwali campaign was held at various malls in the respective cities. The grand finales were attended by celebrities and the RJs hosted the lucky draw.
The grand prize was an Electric Bike by La-V and five lucky winners across the state won these electric bikes. The second and third prizes were high-value gift vouchers from Peps.
B Surendar, COO and Director, Red FM Network, said, “In tune with Red FM’s brand objective of entertainment with a purpose, our Diwali initiative this year ‘Yeh Diwali Green Vaahan Wali’ sought to create awareness about the need to use electric vehicles and reduce the damage being caused to our environment by greenhouse gas emissions while engaging and entertaining listeners with an interactive game show. The main highlight of this activity, organised in association with Nippon Paints, was its seamless integration through radio, digital and BTL platforms other than of course delighting our listeners in Karnataka by giving away Electric Bikes as special prizes”
