Times Network is set to mark its debut in the Hindi business news genre with the launch of ET Now Swadesh on October 04, 2021. ET Now Swadesh’s proposition will be ‘Badho Desh Ke Saath’. The channel will also unveil its brand manifesto that reflects its proposition in the Hindi business news category. A brand film capturing the brand genesis will be released on launch day across the network channels and its social media platforms.
The Network said in a press statement, “ET Now Swadesh’s bright and bold visual appeal represents familiarity, credibility and sophistication. The bright yellow colour in the Swadesh logo denotes the power of the rising sun and signifies purity, hope and new beginnings.”
ET Now Swadesh’s editorial team consists of financial and business journalists including Mihir Bhatt, Pradeep Pandya, Kavita Thapliyal and Priyanka Anand, led by business news anchors Nikunj Dalmia as the Managing Editor.
The statement further mentioned, “ET Now Swadesh, which appeals to a diverse segment of viewers inculcates the philosophy, Save, Spend and Invest and adopts an explanatory and welcoming narrative in its news reportage to present an in-depth analysis of India’s economic landscape.”
The channel will bring a slew of interactive and engaging content that will aid viewers with money-making ideas every five minutes, detailed analysis and perspectives on stocks and commodities, investment opportunities and personalised portfolio recommendations with insights and guidance from industry stalwarts like Nilesh Shah and Madhu Kela.
ET Now Swadesh’s morning band between 8 am and 4 pm will bring nine shows including Khara Sauda, 10 Ka Bazaar, Your Stocks, Commodity Now, F&O Junction, Midcap Masti, Corporate Connections, Stocks Fatafat and Closing Call, which will dedicatedly cover business and markets.
Morning prime-time market show Khara Sauda at 8 am, hosted by Nikunj Dalmia, Mihir Bhatt, Pradeep Pandya and Priyanka Anand, will not only offer viewers an in-depth analysis of the current market trends, the latest buzz in the dealing rooms, insights on what brokerages are betting on, but also educate them on financial savings and creating long-term wealth and investments. The show will also have AI-dominated actionable ideas for the viewers and will feature the top voices from Dalal Street and India Inc. The embodiment of the channel’s proposition will come alive with ‘Swadesh Hour’ at 8 pm hosted by Nikunj Dalmia and Kavita Thapliyal, a 1-hour special show that will capture all the key information and news of the day. The network is set to splash its print ads across leading Hindi, English and financial dailies along with a series of trade promotions and engagement.
