Karan Shroff, Chief Marketing Officer at Unacademy, has become a Partner at the edtech major. A few months ago, Unacademy created the concept of the Partner and made Shroff its first Partner.
Gaurav Munjal, the company’s co-founder, took to Twitter to announce the news.
His post read, “Partner is a leader who emulates all the characteristics of a co-founder, and in that essence, a partner is a co-founder today.”
Shroff showed gratification for his elevation on LinkedIn.
Shroff joined Unacademy as Vice-President, Marketing in 2019. In 2020, he was elevated to Chief Marketing Officer. Before Unacademy, he headed Brand Marketing at Xiaomi for more than four years.
Prior to that he has worked with various companies such as Wizcraft International Entertainment, Bertelsmann, Herbalife International. He was even Co-Founder of Pixies Events.
