Phase 2 of 'Hindustan Ki Baat' begins with Raipur and Kolkata

‘Hindustan Ki Baat’, the IP of Zee Hindustan, was started last year during the pandemic with the aim to cover major cities, acknowledging their achievements and contribution to the development of the state and the nation. 

It successfully conducted the first phase of the series this year, between July 24 to July 31, at six cities covering Ahmedabad, Jaipur, Patna, Kanpur, Bhubaneshwar and Surat. On August 20, the second phase started with Raipur following Kolkata on August 21.  

At Raipur, the event was graced by the presence of  Chief Minister of Chattisgarh Bhupesh Baghel; ex-CM Raman Singh, and industry experts — Sunil Ramdas Chairman of Ramdas Dropadi Foundation; Pallavi Manudev, MD; Pallav India Herbal United; Manudev I H Gowda, national snooker player; Daya Singh,  President, Bol Ban Seva and Kalyan Samiti; Naveen Sharma, Facility Director, NH MMI; Dr Jayesh Sharma, Chief Medical Surgeon and Ashutosh Tripathi, Director, Krishna Public School, bringing light to the achievements of Raipur and also discussed the way forward for Raipur's development.

While in the city of joy, Kolkata, Hindustan Ki Baat started off with a classic musical performance by India percussionist and tabla maestro Pt. Tanmoy Bose and his group, followed by an introductory speech by Managing Editor Shamsher Singh and the four panel discussions regarding the importance of Kolkata in shaping up the cultural and financial backbone of the nation.

The panels consisted of Harshvardhan Neotia, Chairman Ambuja Neotia Group; Suborno Bose, CEO and Founder, IIHM and Indismart; Tarun Bhattacharya, General Secretary, Dr. B.C Roy Engineering College and group of Institutions, Prof. Saikat Maitra, VC, Makaut; Padmashri Prof. Ajay Ray, Director, JIS Institute of Advanced Studies and Research, Mlayendu Saha, Chairman, West Bengal Joint Entrance Examinations Board; Gourav Beriwal, VP, strategy, Shyam Steel Industries Ltd; Mayank Jalan, CMD, Keventer Agro and Mehul Mohanka, MD and CEO Tega Industries.

Purushottam Vaishnava, CEO & Editor-in-Chief,  ZMCL,  said, “Zee Hindustan following on its commitment of giving voice to various cities through Hindustan Ki Baat platform continues its second phase this year with Raipur and Kolkata and it will be followed by Dehradun, Pune, Chandigarh, and Ranchi completed by end of this month.
