Cannes Lions 2021: India secures 26 shortlists in five categories

With the Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity kicking off today, Indian agencies have secured 26 shortlists in the Direct, PR, Social & Influencer, Creative Data and Creative Strategy categories.

Leading the Indian charge in the fresh shortlists is Dentsu Webchutney with seven shortlists for ‘The 8-bit Journo’ campaign done for Vice Media.

FCB India managed to bag five shortlists followed by DDB Mudra and Ogilvy with four shortlists each.

Geometry Encompass has secured three shortlists while BBDO India, Leo Burnett and Lowe Lintas bagged one shortlist each.

The total number of shortlists from India stands at 48.
