The Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha TV have now been merged into one single channel named Sansad TV. The decision was jointly taken by the Chairman of Rajya Sabha and Speaker of the Lok Sabha.
Ravi Capoor, IAS, (1986: Assam and Meghalaya) (Retired) has been appointed as the Chief Executive Officer of Sansad TV on a contract basis. The terms and conditions of his appointment will be issued separately.
