Dilen Gandhi, Senior Director and Category Head - Foods, PepsiCo India, has moved on from the company. According to sources, Gandhi will be joining Reckitt Benckiser’s Health Division.
Anshul Khanna, who has been with PepsiCo for over 18 years as Senior Director, Global Brands Marketing, based in Dublin (Ireland), will take over from Gandhi.
Confirming the news, PepsiCo India spokesperson said, “Over the last four years, Dilen has played an integral part in driving growth and category leadership for PepsiCo India’s foods portfolio. His efforts steered the food business to become one of the fastest-growing verticals. The company would like to thank Dilen for his many contributions and wish him the very best for all his future endeavours.”
Gandhi joined PepsiCo’s snacks division as Marketing Director in 2016. Before that, he worked with Proctor & Gamble, where he joined as Assistant Country Marketing Manager - Ariel and Tide - India in 2006 and rose to the position of Senior Regional Innovation Brand Manager, Always/Whisper - India, Middle East, Africa by 2014. Previously, he has also been the Area Sales Manager at Gillette India.
Gandhi has done his MBA in Marketing from Jamnalal Bajaj Institute of Management Studies and Bachelor of Commerce from Narsee Monjee College of Commerce and Economics.
After completing his MBA, Marketing Major from the Faculty of Management Studies (DU), Khanna joined PepsiCo in 2002 as Management Trainee. He then got promoted to various roles ranging from Manager Marketing, Emerging Categories, GM, Marketing, Vice-President, Marketing, Western Salty Snacks, to Associate Director, Juice and Juice Drinks and then for Pepsi. In 2017, he became the Global Marketing Director, Portfolio Transformation, before he became Senior Director, Global Marketing.
