Why just one day? MG Motor India has launched a new campaign to highlight women’s day to be celebrated #NotJustForaDay. In the automobile industry where men outnumber women, MG Motor has been consciously taking steps to counter gender bias and have a more inclusive workforce. Further to the rollout of 50,000th Hector by an all-women crew, the c MG Motor aims at encouraging people to raise powerful women who can choose their life as they grow up. The campaign film is live across digital platforms.
Conceptualised by Cheil India, the new campaign film #NotJustForaDay puts the spotlight on the women at MG Motor. MG Women are at the forefront of the brand. From encouraging them since the beginning of their career at MG, to getting them to make the cars, the women at MG are supported and empowered. At MG Motor, women’s day runs through the year with the only difference being that it is done through actions more than mere words. The recent example being the unveiling of the 50,000th Hector by an all-women crew. As part of the activation, MG Motor undertook a street art activity with mural art on the wall of a school in Connaught Place in Delhi. The art depicts women from all walks of life who have made a mark in this world.

As a progressive brand, going forward, we aim to take the number of females in the company to 50%.”
