Rajat Gupta appointed as General Manager, Marketing, at Goldi Solar

Rajat Gupta has been appointed as General Manager, Marketing at Goldi Solar. He will report to Bharat Bhut, Co-Founder and Director of the company.

He has joined at an important juncture of the company's journey. Goldi is seeing massive expansion and a slew of new hires, as it is looking to ramp up its EPC business.

Gupta will be responsible for marketing, branding and corporate communications for the company. He will also be involved in defining, developing and implementing a comprehensive and integrated communications programme for Goldi.

Having worked extensively with large conglomerates, both Indian and International, Gupta has gained an in-depth understanding of a gamut of businesses over the last 13 years.

His last assignments were with agencies in the Publicis and WPP groups.

Goldi Solar is a leading Tier-1 Indian solar panel manufacturers, EPC services provider and independent power producer (IPP). Founded in 2011, it is headquartered in Surat. In nine years, the company has grown from 10 MW to 500 MW manufacturing capacity.
