Mars Wrigley's Yogesh Tewari joins RPSG Group as VP, Marketing for FMCG Division

RP Sanjiv Goenka Group has appointed Yogesh Tewari as Vice-President, Marketing, for its FMCG Division. This appointment comes at a time when RPSG Group is eying the expansion of its FMCG Division. Before this, Tewari was Director Marketing and Customer Marketing at Mars Wrigley Confectionery India.

Tewari took to LinkedIn to announce the beginning of his journey with RPSG Group. He wrote, “After 7.5 years in Mars, looking forward to new adventures and exciting challenges as I start afresh at RP Sanjiv Goenka group spearheading the expansion in FMCG sector. A heartfelt ‘Thanks’ to all the fantastic people I worked with and interacted with while at Mars — colleagues, managers, agency partners, etc. Wish you all the best. Once a Martian, always a proud Martian!”

He joined Mars Chocolates (Wrigley) in August 2013 as Head of Marketing and Customer Marketing to lead the marketing functions for the brand in Indonesia, overseeing brand launches, communication, strategy development and deployment, research, media, shopper marketing, customer centricity, team capability building, etc. He was promoted to Marketing Director at Wrigley India in 2016.

Prior to Mars Wrigley, Tewari was with Reckitt Benckiser across different brand and category manager roles for over eight years. He also worked with Colgate Palmolive for five years as Product Manager.  

Tewari has done his MBA from IIM Ahmedabad in Marketing. He also holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering from Motilal Nehru National Institute of Technology.
