Sachin Kamble joins Gaana as Head of Content Licensing

Sachin Kamble has been appointed as Head of Content Licensing at Gaana and will report to Saikat Roy, VP, Content, Gaana.

“With my past experiences and deep consumer understanding, my focus will be on widening the gap from the competition in the fast-growing audio OTT ecosystem,” Kamble said.

Kamble has 14 years of experience in the media and entertainment industry in areas of business strategy, consumer insights, post-merger integration and business automation AI/ML initiatives. He had earlier worked with companies such as Star India, Walt Disney Company, Zee Network, Viu and Turner India.

He was a part of the student exchange programme at IIT, Bombay. He has an MBA in Marketing from Mumbai University’s MET’s Institute of Management, along with BE in Information Technology.

In his last role, he was heading AVOD content for Zee5 across languages and categories. He supported the launch of Hipi, Zee5 Kids, and Zee5 Play during the lockdown months.
