In the run-up to Union Budget 2021, English news channel CNN-News18 from News18 Network has lined up an array of in-depth yet engaging programming titled ‘Restarting India- Budget 2021’, which will aim to decode the complexities of the announcements for the viewers on February 1.

Set against the backdrop of a slowing economy, rising prices and a decline in consumption, the channel will focus on India’s growth agenda by bringing think tanks and industry experts such as Kiran Majumdar Shaw, Chairperson and Managing Director, Biocon Limited; Sunil Kant Munjal, Chairman, Hero Enterprise; and Surjit Bhalla, Executive Director for India at the International Monetary Fund and an economist.

With diverse formats and data-driven approach, the channel will also present exclusive and comprehensive live budget coverage through the day, catching the pulse of the market sentiments, and anticipating the changes the Budget will bring about for the country.
