Alibaba, Aliexpress among 43 more Chinese apps likely to be banned by India

The Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology will ban 43 more Chinese apps, according to the sources. The names in the list include e-commerce giants like Alibaba and AliExpress. Truly Chinese, Truly Asian, Asian Date, and Wish are some other apps on the list.

Earlier in July, the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology had banned 59 apps, including TikTok. The Ministry had again banned 118 Chinese apps, including PUBG in September. The Government had said the decision was based on information that these apps are engaged in activities which are prejudicial to sovereignty and integrity of India.
