Vodafone and Idea brands are now âtogether for tomorrowâ giving birth to a new brand called âViâ (read as âWeâ). The company communicated its new unified consumer brand identity and positioning through a virtual launch today.
Vodafone Idea Limited said Vi is built to be strong, ever-dependable, agile, intuitive, and a brand in tune with the needs of the customers, in these ever-changing times.
âIt is designed to help customers move ahead in life, for a better today and a brighter tomorrow. Vi is future-ready and is committed to dynamically serve and enable a digital society to progress in life,â the company said.
Ravinder Takkar, MD and CEO, Vodafone India, said, âVodafone Idea came together as a merged entity two years ago. The Vi logo and signage are already up at various stores, hoardings and service centres. The brand has also planned to communicate its positioning and new identity via digital and TV channels to its customers, saidÂ KavitaÂ Nair, Chief Digital Transformation Officer atÂ Vi.
