Jewellery brand Tanishq from the Tata Group has launched a new campaign on the occasion of Ganesh Chaturthi. Lord Ganesha, also known as Vighnaharta, is one of the most revered Hindu Gods and is believed to remove all hurdles in our lives.

Conceptualised by Tanishq and Lowe Lintas, the film, set in the backdrop of the pandemic, is an ode to all Vighnahartas who have come forward and helped us in these troublesome times. The film is written by Lowe Lintas and directed by Deepak Thomas under Lucifer Circus production. The film was shot with minimal crew, adhering to all safety norms.
It begins with three elderly friends who are seen practising social distancing and are talking about a gift to be given to a young girl. The narrative is sure to touch all our hearts and leave an everlasting impact. A beautiful voiceover takes us through a unique bond shared between people and a kind heart that celebrates different avatars of Lord Ganesha. The film ends on an emotional note when the girl receives a gift in the form of a beautiful Ganesha pendant from Tanishq. With this film, Tanishq brings out the essence of the festival and urges everyone to celebrate their Vighnaharta by showing a little appreciation; #WhoIsYourVighnaharta.
For the festive occasion of Ganesh Chaturthi, Tanishq has launched a special Ganesha Pendant.

They say god comes in many forms and more often in the form of man. This catastrophe has seen the resurgence of humanity as a force. People came together to fight the multitude of challenges this pandemic and lockdown posed, new relationships of care and concern were forged, in small yet significant ways people reached out to help within their community, neighbourhood, and country at large. This film is a tribute to all those Vighnaharthas in our lives.
“This moment also inspired our team of designers to craft a collection of Ganesha pendants as a prayer to the Remover of Obstacles.”
