Ogilvy India is the second ‘Most Effective Agency’ in the world according to The Global Effies Index 2020. The agency also holds the #1 position as the ‘Most Effective Agency in Asia’. McCann Worldgroup India was at #3 as the ‘Most Effective Agency’ globally.

The Womb has been ranked the top independent agency in Asia-Pacific. It has also been ranked among the top three independent agencies in the world, narrowly missing being among the top-2 by one point, and the top 25 agency offices (network and independent) in the world.

Coca-Cola is the most effective brand globally while McDonald's was in the second place. KFC and Vodafone got the third and fourth places. Food and drink brands KFC, Burger King and Sprite were among the top 10 brands on the Effie Index. Telecom brands Vodafone and Claro made it to the top 10 as well as Ikea, Chevrolet and Mastercard.
Unilever leads the list of effective marketers for the fourth year in a row. The top 10 list of marketers include Coca-Cola, Nestle, PepsiCo, McDonald’s, Procter & Gamble, Vodafone and Ikea.
WPP has been ranked the ‘Most Effective Agency Holding Group’ in the Effie Index, followed by Omnicom, IPG, Publicis and Dentsu. It is the ninth successive year that WPP has received this award.
