Following the uncertainty due to the nationwide lockdown, Zee Group's senior management across the board has come together to stand by the company during this difficult phase and voluntarily taken salary cuts.
According to multiple sources, the salary cut will be for a couple of months, which will be paid over the next six months.
Along with the cut, the last year's bonus payout will be done in two parts in this fiscal year. 50% payment will be made in May while the remaining part will be paid in October.
Besides, salary increments across the board have been put on hold until the economic conditions improve.
Like Zee, television entertainment behemoth Star India’s senior management has opted for a salary cut.
