Richa Goswami quits Johnson & Johnson as Global Head of Digital

Richa Goswami, Global Head of Digital, Johnson & Johnson, has called it quits after a stint of five years and five months with the healthcare company.

She took to LinkedIn to announce her exit.

“I still remember like it was yesterday when I was given the challenge of a lifetime: to disrupt and transform a company whose brands are iconic and culture deeply purpose lead and authentic. I did not have all the answers but I knew that its never too late to believe that each of us could make a difference and we did, one customer at a time,” Goswami wrote.

“Changing the trajectory of health for humanity has never been more real and critical and I will always be so incredibly proud of the countless times J&J has stepped up and will continue innovating to do so.  They say you will forget what people said or what they did, but you will never forget how they made you feel. J&J you made me feel incredibly special, loved and proud,” she said.

Goswami was promoted to her current position of Global Head of Digital in June 2019, where she was responsible for shaping and driving the company’s global digital transformation agenda.

Goswami joined J&J in 2014 as Asia Pacific Head of Digital for Consumer Healthcare Businesses, J&J. In January 2018, she was promoted as the Asia Pacific Head of Total Brand Experience. She was promoted as Global Head of Content, Creative Excellence and Digital platforms, in January 2019.

Prior to her stint at J&J, Goswami had worked with Standard Chartered Bank as managing director, mobiles and payments for four years. She has also held leadership roles with HSBC in 1997.
