Infotainment channel National Geographic offers viewers inside access to progressive measures through which these countries are waging a war against Covid-19. Premiering on April 13, at 7 pm on National Geographic, the film ‘Combating Covid-19’ is a stirring portrait of courage, resilience and solidarity amid the global pandemic.
The film captures the nuances of pre-emptive measures taken by Singaporean authorities to ensure a coordinated, efficient response to try to keep its citizens safe. It also captures how by combining technology with people power, a variety of new devices and methodologies have been developed and implemented to aid in the fight against the spread of coronavirus.
Following the team, as they contend with daily testing, hospital transfers and the ever-present threat of community transmission, the documentary intends to deliver an unflinching look at the war against Covid-19 and some of its heroic warriors.
This film is a part of National Geographic’s #UnitedByHope campaign (and four-part ‘Facing the Pandemic’ series) which will bring forth valuable insights from experts and influencers on how unity and preventive measures are imperative in unprecedented times like these.
