Due to the Covid-19 lockdown, people are now forced to slow down and can spend quality time with their family and friends. The campaign is designed to encourage people to make the most of this time spent with their loved ones while they are home.

#CoverTheDistance features a video that depicts various relationships and focuses on the fact that it is important to stay connected with your loved ones while practising social distancing.

Ruchika Varma, Chief Marketing Officer, Future Generali India Insurance, said, “We live in extraordinary times. While we all know that social distancing is the best way to beat this pandemic, the truth is that social distancing is tough. We are very clear that our job in these tough times is to support our customers, and the best way to do that is to show them the positives of social distancing among the plethora of negativity. #CoverTheDistance is about looking at the bright side of this situation, and to focus on what truly matters — our relationships.”

When we came up with the thought, we realised these times were actually a great opportunity to spend time with our loved ones, be it physically at home or through regular video calls, etc.”
