Zee Business to bring live updates of World Economic Forum from Davos

The World Economic Forum (WEF) will host its 50th meet at Davos between January 21-24, where over 3,000 delegates from all across the world will participate.

Zee Business has partnered with luxury car-maker Mercedes Benz to bring live updates from the event.

Switzerland's Davos is home to the world's annual biggest economic summit, the World Economic Forum, which sees a congregation of the who's who in governments, corporate world and civil society to brainstorm on world affairs. They assemble to find viable solutions to problems and highlight potential ones that can have a wide impact.

Some of the top leaders to be present during the meet will be US President Donald Trump, Russian President Vladimir Putin, German Chancellor Angela Merkel, Afghanistan President Ashraf Ghani, Finland's Prime Minister Sana Marin and Iraq's President Burham Saleh along with the state heads of Ireland, Brazil and Singapore. Apart from this, other leaders across the world would  participate in the event.

India is planning a big show of strength. Despite the global slowdown, the world is looking at India with a lot of expectations.

The theme for this year's meet is 'Stakeholders for a Cohesive and Sustainable World' where the discussion on the global economy will take place. The global leadership will also deliberate on how to make the world a better and liveable place. There will be six different topics — economy, technology, society, geopolitics, and industry — where almost 650 speakers will put their thoughts before the delegates and the wider world. According to the World Economic Forum, a 'Davos Manifesto' could be made this year to redraw the economic goals of companies and governments.
