Star Jalsha launches Super Singer, a musical platform for youth

After the success of Super Singer Junior that enthralled Bengal for over 16 weeks, Bengali entertainment channel Star Jalsha recently launched Super Singer with a 10-hour long Super Audition.

Super Singer will be aired every Saturday and Sunday, at 8.30 pm, on Star Jalsha SD and HD.

The auditions for Super Singer were held across 12 regions in Bengal along with four locations in Kolkata, from where 28 singing talents were handpicked for the Super Audition. In the recently concluded 10-hour long Super Audition, 14 have been chosen for the journey ahead. These 14 contestants will be groomed and mentored by a panel of judges comprising Kavita Krishnamurty, Kumar Sanu and Jeet Gaanguli to bring out the best in them, and find Bengal’s first Super Singer. The show’s anchor will be Jisshu Sengupta.

Super Singer has been produced by Subhankar Chattopadhyay Productions.
