BBH India takes on board Nivedita Agashe as Creative Director

BBH India has announced the appointment of Nivedita Agashe as Creative Director in its Mumbai Office. She will report to Russell Barrett, Chief Creative Officer and Managing Partner, BBH India and will lead a team of copy, art and design professionals.

Agashe comes with 11 years of experience in advertising with expertise in developing clutter-breaking engaging campaigns. In the past, she has worked with DDB Mudra, Taproot India and Sideways Consulting. She has spearheaded creative expression for a diverse set of brands such as Volkswagen, Times of India, Mumbai Mirror, Airtel, Stayfree, Borosil Glassworks and The Taj Group.

Over the years, she has won a slew of awards at international and local award shows from Abbys to Spikes Asia. She has been a delegate at See It Be It, a programme by the Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity to encourage women creatives in advertising and was also featured among the ET Brand Equity’s Hot Young Creatives List 2013.

Apart from advertising, she writes poetry and has also penned lyrics for a Pune-based folk-rock band called Jaagar.
