Exhibition chain Mukta A2 Cinemas organised a special screening of ‘Mardaani 2’ for underprivileged girls from the JumpStart Skill Foundation. The CSR activity, which took place at Centre Square Mall Vadodara, at Mukta A2 Cinemas, saw 30 girls in attendance.
The girls were treated to a delightful surprise when 25 women police officers from Vadodara’s Nirbhaya team made an appearance. The officers interacted with the children, sharing their thoughts on the film and imparting valuable advice on the security and well-being of women.
Sachidanand Shetty, Business Head at Mukta A2 Cinemas, said, “Mukta A2 Cinemas has always championed equality and education as the cornerstones of a better society. Movies are a fantastic vehicle for this message, especially when they feature strong female protagonists. By giving them a world-class cinematic experience, and allowing them to interact with the men and women keeping us safe every day, we hope to inspire these girls to build a better, brighter future for themselves.”
"JumpStart Skill Foundation expresses their gratitude to Mukta Cinema and its team for this enriching experience and exposure. Movies have always been a source of inspiration to its viewers. It gives these girls a chance to be truly inspired by showcasing the movie and also getting real life heroes to talk about their career path and safety measures," said Radhika Majumdar Ramani, Director of JumpStart Skill Foundation.
The JumpStart Skill Foundation is a registered not-for-profit company founded as a training platform for underprivileged women.
