Hygiene brand Dettol, from health and hygiene company RB, is all set to elevate the home cleanliness regime in India with the launch of Dettol Disinfectant Spray. Dettol Disinfectant Spray is a multipurpose, one-stop solution which can be used on different surfaces to protect from 100 illness-causing germs.

This is the first time that the Indian market is being introduced to the concept of disinfection across soft and hard surfaces. Millennial mothers are increasingly becoming aware of the importance of hygiene, searching for convenience owing to their busy lifestyles, and, at the same time, are looking for cost-effective, value-for-money products.

Independent research revealed that:

• 80% of women think that their homes are clean and germ-free

• 70% of women think that the sofas and curtains in their homes are germ-free

This multipurpose disinfectant cleaner for home is recommended by the Indian Medical Association (IMA) as it helps in killing cold and flu viruses, including the H1N1 virus.
