Sandeep Verma appointed as Country Head of Bayer Consumer Health

After a three-year stint at Bajaj Consumer Care as President, Sandeep Verma has been appointed as the Country Head, India, of Bayer Consumer Health.

Sources close to the development confirmed to BestMediaInfo.com that he will be responsible for setting up the Consumer Health Business in the country for the brand.

The brand is a global enterprise with core competencies in the Life Science fields of health care and agriculture. Having established its presence in 1896 in the country, India is of the strategic importance to Bayer’s activities worldwide. The Bayer Group in India includes the Crop Science and Pharmaceuticals divisions as well as the Animal Health business unit.

Prior to working with Bajaj Consumer Care as President for three years, Verma had worked with Hindustan Unilever for almost 16 years. He had joined as Area Sales Manager and had switched to Bajaj after being the Global Marketing Director of Vim and Category Head for two years.

Verma is a post-graduate from Indian Institute of Management, Lucknow.
