Harman Kardon International, the audio company (acquired by Samsung Electronics) that operates brands Infinity and JBL in India, has given its integrated communication mandate to Havas Creative India for its recently launched brand Infinity.

The agency has been selected to handle both online and offline platforms and won the mandate following a multi-agency pitch.

As part of the mandate, the agency will be responsible for creative strategy and execution. The business will be handled by the agency’s Delhi office.

Harman Kardon India will be revisiting its pricing strategy to be more accessible while continuing to be aspirational. The new pricing strategy will be an integral part of strengthening brand positioning in India.

The product range of Infinity, which is the newest launch, will include in-ear, on-ear headphones and Bluetooth speakers. The legacy brand Harman develops solutions to enable seamless, connected lifestyles for the home, car, stage, and enterprise through its leading audio products, infotainment systems, software, and connected services.

Manas Lahiri, Managing Partner, North, Havas Gurgaon, said, "We are looking forward to work with leading global company like Harman Kardon.  With our Havas’ integrated Village model, we will continue to provide clients with seamless and agile business solutions. The category is very competitive and dynamic, but with our ‘Better Together’ strategy which offers integrated outcome-oriented strategy and results, we would be able to drive revenue growth and brand preference in India.”
