Sneha Rajani, HeadÂ of Sony Pictures Networks (SPNâs) film production division, Sony Pictures Networks ProductionsÂ (SPNP),Â has decided to move on after spending 20 years with the organisation.
SPN said in a press statement that Rajaniâs contribution to the organization was immense and the line-up of her illustrious achievements was long.
Rajani has been instrumental in launching Sony MAX, which is Indiaâs leading movie channel, revolutionizing the content ofÂ Sony Entertainment Television (SET)Â with shows like Bade Acche Lagte Hai,Â KuchÂ TohÂ LogÂ Kahenge, Parvarish etc.,Â and thenÂ propellingÂ aÂ multitudeÂ ofÂ Hindi movie hits with the production of Piku, Azhar, Mubarkaan and Soorma.
SheÂ has also led some of the industryâs firsts likeÂ the iconic cricket wrap-around show âExtraaaÂ Inningsâ with a female presenter for the first time ever and created television history not only with the ratings but how cricket began to be consumed in this country.
In addition, Rajani has played a valuable role in shaping the diversity agenda of SPN, enabling an inclusive work environment.
